Cookies & Castles: A Gingerbread Extravaganza is held each year at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children benefiting the hospital’s prosthetics department as well as Tri Delta Foundation’s Crescent Fund.

A Ladies Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Friday, December 8th, kicks off the weekend with a guest speaker, followed by gingerbread house decorating.

On Saturday, December 9th, Family Day invites parents and children to decorate gingerbread houses and gingerbread men in a candy winter wonderland. Whether naughty or nice, Santa will welcome all visitors and be available for that picture-perfect Christmas card.

Two sessions will be available for Family Day: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is one of the nation’s leading pediatric centers for the treatment of orthopedic conditions and sports injuries, as well as certain related arthritic and neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia. All event proceeds benefit Scottish Rite Hospital’s comprehensive prosthetics program, including on-site fabrication for patients with amputations or limb deficiencies, provides a child with the opportunity to experience life at its fullest. Thanks to generous donors, the hospital is able to continue carrying out its mission of giving children back their childhood.

Delta Delta Delta Foundation Crescent Fund provides  financial assistance and hope to collegians and alumnae in financial need.  The Tri Delta Foundation is dedicated to fulfilling the Fraternity’s purpose of “assisting its members in every possible way” and providing funding for numerous beneficial programs for collegians and alumnae.
