Reference Writer’s Instructions

The Dallas Tri Delta Alumnae Chapter Reference Board processes references for all potential new members (formerly known as rushees) who graduate from the following high schools, regardless of the potential new member’s home address:

  • Highland Park High School
  • Lake Highlands High School
  • All Dallas Independent School District high schools
  • All Dallas County private high schools

1)  Obtain a Reference Form

To obtain a reference form click here.

2)  Get from the potential new member

  • Resume
  • High school transcript
  • Copy of SAT or ACT scores
  • 3 pictures (4 x 6 are best) with her name, high school and Dallas, Texas written on back
  • Additional Information Sheet (if available):
  • Orientation dates
  • Roommate and dorm for fall
  • Summer plans
  • Friends attending same university 

3)  Complete Reference Packet

  • 1 Completed Reference Form – do NOT put “see attached” on reference form
  • plus 2 additional copies
  • 3 pictures of any size (4 x 6 are best)
  • plus 2 copies of 1 of the pictures (which may be black & white photocopies)
  • 1 Resume, plus 2 copies
  • 1 Transcript, plus 2 copies
  • 1 Copy of SAT or ACT scores
  • 2-3 Letters of Support from Tri Delta alumnae, if possible
  • Additional Information Sheet, plus 2 copies

4)  Deliver/Mail Reference Packet to  Tri Delta Reference Chairman:

is the deadline for all Reference Packets regardless of whether Fall of Spring Rush.  Please do not send reference packets directly to the college chapters!
